SAVE MY WORLD
Lord, save my world,
if this one of Yours begins to fall,
the great one, the singular one,
made by Your own principles,
with clear borders of good
and the ever‑stretching border of evil,
in the holiness of the human soul
and the human mind.
Save this one within me,
so small, so ordinary,
for which seven days
were not enough to be created;
my whole life was needed
to shape it inside myself,
facing Yours.
Lord, save my world.
This crumb of restlessness in me,
which feeds me and gives me drink
in place of Your universe,
when Your magnificence
sets me before the wastelands,
thirsty for my desires,
hungry for their fulfillment.
Lord, save my world.
Like a child unlearned,
like a child unstrong,
while the tower of golden steps collapses,
the steps by which a human being
should rise toward You.
Lord, save my world.
